The International Islamic University Malaysia (Arabic الجامعة الإسلامية العالمية بماليزيا);Malay: University Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia), also known as IIUM or UIAM, is one of the Public Institutions of Higher Education (PIHE) in Malaysia. Its main campus is located in Gombak, Selagor with its Center For Foundations Studies situated in Peta ling Java and its medical-centric branch in Quanta, Pahang. The university is sponsored by eight governments from the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC). It is distinct from the International Islamic University Islamabad Pakistan and International Islamic University in Dhaka Bangladesh.
